Bannu Woollen Mills is seeking a diligent and organized Store Keeper to oversee the inventory and stock management operations within the company. This role requires a professional with a minimum of five years of relevant experience who can efficiently manage stock control and ensure accurate records of all inventory movements. The ideal candidate will lead a team of three persons, coordinating activities to achieve smooth logistics operations and maintain optimal stock levels that support production needs. The Store Keeper plays a critical role in managing incoming and outgoing goods, conducting thorough receiving and inspection procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The position demands attention to detail, strong data entry capabilities, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records to prevent stock discrepancies. The Store Keeper will work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize storage space and streamline inventory workflows, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of Bannu Woollen Mills.Responsibilities
- Manage and control all inventory items, ensuring accurate stock levels at all times.
- Supervise a team of three persons to carry out inventory-related tasks effectively.
- Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods.
- Conduct receiving and inspection of goods to verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate data entry of stock movements including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
- Implement and enforce safety compliance procedures within the storage facility to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor stock rotations to prevent overstocking or stockouts and report on inventory status regularly.
- Collaborate with procurement and production departments to forecast inventory needs and replenish stock accordingly.
- Organize storage areas to maximize space utilization and improve accessibility of materials.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or stock losses promptly.
- Prepare inventory reports and documentation for management review.
