Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Senior Lecturer in Speech Language Pathology to join its academic team. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an HEC recognized institute and at least three years of post-MS experience, including one publication. This role involves delivering high-quality education, conducting advanced research, and contributing to the development of academic programs within the department. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering lectures, guiding student research projects, and engaging in scholarly activities that contribute to the field of speech language pathology. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it requires a collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within various university committees and departments. The candidate should possess strong skills in research methodology, speech-language assessment, and academic writing to support rigorous academic standards and elevate student learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in speech language pathology with clarity and engagement.
- Design, administer, and evaluate speech-language assessments to train students on clinical competencies.
- Guide and supervise student research projects ensuring adherence to rigorous research methodology standards.
- Prepare and publish academic papers, contributing to scholarly discourse in speech and language pathology.
- Update and maintain curriculum vitae and course materials to reflect current scientific developments and best practices.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings and committees to support academic governance and program development.
- Advise students on academic progression, research opportunities, and professional development within speech language pathology.
- Collaborate with faculty members to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into teaching and research activities.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and accreditation requirements in program delivery and assessment.
- Support the establishment of innovative laboratory or clinical training modules to enhance practical student experience.
- Engage with professional bodies and contribute to the advancement of the speech language pathology profession through conferences and workshops.
- Maintain a professional profile through continuous learning and contribute to community outreach programs related to speech and language health.
