Our client Aksa Converters is looking for a Senior Accountant in Lahore
Aksa Converters is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with at least two years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and managing general ledgers. This position requires thorough knowledge of tax compliance and audit coordination processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the companys financial health by completing accounts and stock closing, monthly closing, and audit reporting tasks efficiently and accurately.
The role involves close collaboration with internal departments and external auditors to maintain compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. Although this position does not currently involve managing a team, effective communication and coordination skills are essential for successfully working with various stakeholders to support accounting operations and financial controls. Candidates with banking knowledge and good communication skills will thrive in this role while supporting the companys commitment to financial transparency and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies in a systematic manner.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate tax compliance activities, including preparation and submission of tax returns and related documentation.
- Support audit processes by gathering necessary documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and facilitating audit completion.
- Conduct accounts and stock closing activities regularly to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
- Complete monthly closing procedures and prepare associated audit reports for management review.
- Collaborate with banking institutions to reconcile bank statements and support banking operations as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external parties to provide financial clarifications and updates.
- Assist in implementing and improving internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data.
