Job Description
About CoRecruit
CoRecruit is a B2B SaaS platform built for recruiting firms. We automate the most time-consuming parts of a recruiter's job: call recording, intelligent note-taking, and seamless ATS data entry. Our mission is to give recruiters their time back so they can focus on what they do best — building relationships and closing placements.
We're growing fast, and our go-to-market team is the engine driving that growth. We're looking for a Sales Manager who can lead, coach, and scale an outbound-heavy sales organization that wins through excellence, accountability, and a culture of obsession with the numbers.
The Role: Sales Manager
You'll be the leader and coach of our global sales team, responsible for building a high-performance sales organization across both outbound and inbound channels. Your day-to-day:
- Lead \& Coach: Manage a team of quota-carrying AEs and BDRs. This isn't a title — you'll be hands-on. You'll listen to calls every week, give real-time feedback, and help your reps get better at the fundamentals: discovery, demos, pricing discipline, and objection handling.
- Build an Outbound Machine: Our primary pipeline source is cold calling. You'll own the outbound calling motion for your team — managing dial activity, connect rates, meeting conversion, and the quality of conversations. You'll know your team's Nooks numbers cold: dials per day, connects per day, booked meetings, and the talk track they're running.
- Manage the BDR Team: You'll work directly with your BDRs to scale outbound pipeline and revenue. This means setting volume expectations, tracking disposition metrics, and ensuring they're following the CoRecruit cold call framework. You'll also be coaching them on the discovery questions and pain-to-value bridge — they're building the raw conversations that close deals.
- Deal Review \& Pipeline Management: Every week, you'll review your team's pipeline. You'll know which deals are stalling, which are at risk, and why. You'll use the HubSpot data to spot stage velocity problems, dead ops, and opportunities to move deals forward. You'll also own monthly forecast calls with your team and the VP of Operations — committing to numbers and explaining variance.
- Call Coaching \& Performance Management: You'll score calls (demos, onboarding, cold calls) against the CoRecruit scorecard. You'll give real coaching feedback: "You filled the silence after pricing in 4 seconds — that kills the deal.
- Set the Tone: You're the head cheerleader. You model the behavior you want to see: making calls, winning deals, staying curious, and obsessing over the metrics. Your team will take their cues from you.
- Forecasting: You own monthly forecast. That means understanding your team's pipeline depth, win rates by stage, and sales cycle. You'll forecast committed closes and explain the thinking behind every number.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in sales management or sales leadership — ideally at a B2B SaaS company or similar high-velocity sales environment
- Hands-on outbound selling expertise — you've built and scaled cold calling motions or similar outbound channels. You know what good looks like: call volume, connect rate, objection handling, closing.
- Expertise in inbound selling — you understand how to position value in discovery conversations, handle pricing objections, and move deals through a sales cycle
- Call coaching experience — you've sat with reps, listened to calls, and given specific, behavioral feedback that changed their performance
- HubSpot proficiency — you know how to navigate deals, track activity, run reports, and use data to diagnose pipeline problems
- Parallel dialer experience — you've used tools like Nooks or similar (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, etc.) and understand how to optimize for volume and quality
- Forecasting chops — you can read a pipeline, model win rates, and forecast with confidence
Mindset \& Culture Fit
- Obsessed with winning — you measure yourself and your team against clear metrics. You celebrate wins and don't make excuses for misses.
- Coachable and continuous — you're always learning. You ask better questions every week. You admit when you don't know something, then go find the answer.
- Detail-oriented — you notice when a rep isn't asking the right discovery questions. You remember that a deal has been sitting in Ongoing for 18 days. You catch the small things that compound into big wins.
- Energetic and encouraging — your team wants to come to work to talk to you because you make them better. You're not a drill sergeant; you're a coach who believes in them.
- Bias to action — you don't wait for perfect information. You make decisions, move fast, and adjust based on results.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition
- Knowledge of recruiting technology, ATS platforms, or the recruiting workflow
- Experience managing distributed or global teams
- Experience with other sales tools (Salesloft, Outreach, Apollo, etc.)
Why CoRecruit
- You'll see the impact immediately. Our product saves recruiters 8+ hours per week. Your team's work directly helps recruiters close more placements faster.
- You'll own the culture. As a sales leader, you set the tone for excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. That matters.
- You'll work with a team that knows the numbers. We don't guess. We measure everything. You'll have the data you need to make decisions.
- You'll have autonomy. We trust our managers to coach and lead. You'll have support from the VP of Operations, but the decisions are yours.
