About the role
*Level: Higher-intermediate to Senior*
*Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, REST/GraphQL, MongoDB, Azure*
You'll build and own backend services powering CoRecruit's product, and you'll be a real voice in how we design our APIs — not just implementing specs, but shaping them with the team.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in TypeScript/Node.js
- Collaborate with the team on API design, data modeling, and technical direction
- Work closely with frontend (React) and product to ship features end-to-end
- Contribute to code review and raise the bar on backend quality
Required
- Strong backend experience with TypeScript/Node.js
- Solid API design skills — able to help shape REST and/or GraphQL APIs, not just consume them
- Experience with MongoDB or comparable NoSQL data modeling
- Ability to work independently in a remote team
Nice to have
- GraphQL schema/resolver experience
- Azure/AWS/GCP experience
- API-first or high-throughput product background
- Recruiting/HR tech familiarity
