Sea Global is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial activities and ensure accurate and timely financial data management. This role involves handling invoice processing, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, and audit coordination. The ideal candidate works hands-on with financial transactions while maintaining organized and audit-ready records, helping to maintain the company's financial integrity. This position requires proficiency in cloud-based accounting software and a commitment to deadlines, with an emphasis on offering clear financial insights that support strategic decision-making to optimize cash flow and minimize risks.
In this role, the Accountant plays a critical part in enhancing the companys financial workflows by preparing financial statements and reports, managing tax filings, and identifying areas for process improvements. While the role does not involve managing a team, it demands a proactive and meticulous approach to financial operations, enabling Sea Global to achieve long-term financial health and remain compliant with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable operations with attention to timeliness and accuracy.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to reflect the companys financial position.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Oversee invoice processing and ensure timely billing and collections.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records that support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Manage tax filings and ensure adherence to relevant tax laws and deadlines.
- Analyze financial statements and transactional data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve cash flow management.
- Utilize cloud-based accounting software to enhance transaction management and reporting efficiency.
- Support management with clear, jargon-free financial insights to aid strategic planning and decision making.
