Our client Recruit AI is looking for a AutoCAD Draftsman - Technical Documentation \& Site Evaluation in REMOTE

Recruit AI seeks a skilled DAE MTO-AutoCAD Draftsman to create detailed technical line diagrams, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD. This role requires a precise and detail-oriented professional to develop accurate Bills of Quantities and financial quotations in line with engineering specifications. The candidate performs essential on-site measurements and structural site evaluations while applying strong technical drafting and engineering layout calculation skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word is also critical to prepare comprehensive documentation and reports.

This position demands a high level of accuracy and technical expertise in site measurement and layout planning to support engineering projects effectively. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience, strong organizational skills, and an aptitude for producing technical documentation and calculations. Although this role does not involve team management, it plays a vital part in delivering quality technical outputs that assist project execution and costing at Recruit AI.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical line diagrams, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD software.
• Develop precise Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and accurate financial quotations based on detailed engineering specifications.
• Perform accurate on-site physical measurements and structural site evaluations to support layout planning.
• Complete technical space mapping to ensure design compliance and efficient use of site areas.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drafting reports using MS Excel and MS Word.
• Apply strong calculation skills to ensure accuracy in engineering layout and technical drafting tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather specifications and clarify design requirements.
• Review and verify measurements and drawings to maintain quality and minimize errors.
• Ensure all drafting work adheres to industry standards, company protocols, and project timelines.
• Support project estimation efforts by providing detailed technical data and financial inputs.
• Maintain organized records of site measurements, drafts, and technical documents for project reference.
