Site Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities including excavation, backfilling, concrete works, waterproofing, finishing works, drainage, roadworks, underground utilities, cable trenches, and building construction.
• Monitor site progress to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Inspect construction materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure quality compliance.
• Maintain site documentation including RFIs, material inspections, concrete records, and quality reports.
• Conduct site inspections before client and consultant inspections.

Technical \& Project Support

• Review shop drawings, BOQs, and construction documents.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and field change requests.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and certify work progress.
• Coordinate with MEP, HSE, and other engineering disciplines for smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with international engineering standards and local regulations.

Reporting \& Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Support construction management with progress tracking and technical updates.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience

• Strong experience in

substation, power, utility, or infrastructure projects

.

• Experience working on

live substations

and

Permit-to-Work (PTW)

environments is highly preferred.
