Job Description
The role serves as the primary Human Resources Business Partner for the IGI business at Mahape, supporting 30 employees and their managers across all people-related matters. The role also supports the Head of HR, IGI in driving global HR programs, systems, workforce planning, compensation, performance management, talent processes, and strategic HR initiatives across the business.
Through a dotted-line reporting relationship, the role partners with the Mahape Site HR Lead to support employee engagement, compliance, and site-wide HR initiatives across the Mahape site population.
Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnering – Ichnos Glenmark Innovation (IGI)
- Act as the primary HR Business Partner for the IGI employee population at Mahape (30 employees).
- Partner with business leaders and managers on workforce planning, employee relations, performance, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and change management initiatives.
- Drive implementation of central HR programs and initiatives at the site.
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition, inclusion, and culture initiatives, including oversight of Fun@Work and DEIB programs for the IGI population.
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition for IGI, ensuring timely fulfilment of workforce requirements aligned with approved manpower plans.
Support Head of HR, IGI – Global HR Programs, Systems \& Strategic Initiatives
- Support the Head of HR in driving and coordinating global HR programs and initiatives across IGI.
- Lead end-to-end workforce planning activities including manpower planning, consolidation of workforce requirements, headcount tracking, and workforce analytics.
- Manage the governance and execution of global Compensation and Performance Management cycles, including compensation reviews, performance ratings, merit matrices, budgets, approvals, compliance, and salary revision processes.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for compensation and performance management activities, partnering with Regional HR teams, Compensation COEs, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Own and administer compensation and performance management processes within SuccessFactors(HRIS), ensuring data integrity, process compliance, timely completion, and effective user support.
- Develop HR dashboards, workforce analytics, leadership presentations, and insights related to workforce, compensation, and performance outcomes.
- Support the Head of HR in preparing for Management Operating Reviews (MOR), Compensation Board meetings, and other leadership
- Lead and participate in global HR transformation, workforce, and process improvement initiatives, partnering with global stakeholders to drive successful implementation and change management.
Support Mahape Site HR Lead – Engagement, Compliance \& Site Management
- Support HR site lead at Mahape on all side-related matters.
- Partner with the Mahape Site HR Lead to support employee engagement, culture-building initiatives, and site-wide HR programs across the Mahape employee population.
- Support site-level communication, employee relations, and workforce initiatives.
- Support compliance requirements, including statutory, labour law, audit, and company policy adherence at the Mahape site.
Educational Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or a related field such Master in Social Work, Master in Psychology (Full Time candidates preferred)
Experience
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with exposure to HR Business Partnering \& all aspects of HR such as Recruitment, Rewards Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Talent Management. Familiarity with retention strategy and tools.
- Good-to-have: Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms.
