Job Description
- Oversee all commercial contracting, including drafting, negotiation, governance frameworks, templates, and playbooks.
- Ensure end-to-end compliance across food, consumer, labour, data privacy, packaging, environmental, and other applicable regulations within the industry.
- Handle litigation, disputes, and regulatory proceedings, representing the company before authorities and managing external counsel where required.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic insight and risk assessment.
- Lead ESG and sustainability initiatives, including compliance, reporting, disclosures, and evolving regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Candidate Should Have
- An LLB degree. A CS qualification is an advantage.
- Experience in the consumer, FMCG, food manufacturing sectors.
- Strong expertise across regulatory, compliance, employment, commercial, data privacy, ESG, and product-related laws relevant to a consumer-facing business.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
