Job Description
We're looking for an experienced
**Human Resources Manager**
to serve as a trusted business partner and employee advocate. You'll advise leaders, manage complex employee matters, and help build a compliant, people\-first workplace.
**What You'll Do**
* Partner with leaders to navigate employee relations issues, including investigations and complaint resolution
* Administer leave programs and guide employees and managers through the interactive process in compliance with applicable leave laws
* Interpret and apply union contracts; manage grievances and labor relations matters
* Provide guidance on employment law to coach and support managers in decision\-making
* Lead full\-cycle recruiting and support workforce acquisition efforts
* Act as a strategic HR business partner aligned to departmental goals
**What You Bring**
* Proven experience in union environments, including grievance handling and contract interpretation
* Strong knowledge of leave laws (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, etc.) and the interactive process
* Solid employment law foundation with the ability to translate it into practical guidance
* Experience managing employee relations, including sensitive investigations
* Recruitment/talent acquisition experience
* A consultative, solutions\-oriented approach to partnering with business leaders
