In this pivotal role, you will own the design, deployment, and management of our multi\-cloud environments spanning Azure, AWS, and GCP. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain pipelines, automation, and platforms that enable our development teams to deliver software rapidly and reliably. This hands\-on position requires a high level of ownership, technical expertise, and proactive problem\-solving. You will collaborate closely with software and ML engineering teams to optimize deployment strategies, improve system reliability, and ensure security best practices are upheld. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and scalability of our AI solutions, supporting our mission to deliver innovative AI\-driven products and services. **Qualifications** * Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience * 3–6 years of progressive experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or site reliability engineering * Hands\-on experience with at least two cloud platforms among Azure, AWS, and GCP; multi\-cloud experience highly valued * Proven expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in production environments * Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform; experience with Bicep, Pulumi, or CDK is a plus * Solid Kubernetes experience including cluster management, Helm, workload scaling, and networking * Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation * Experience implementing cloud security controls such as IAM, RBAC, network policies, and key management * Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and agile development practices * Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, compute, storage, and application layers * Relevant cloud certifications such as AZ\-104, AZ\-400, AWS Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect are desirable * Experience supporting ML/AI workloads, including GPU clusters and deployment pipelines, is a plus **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous delivery across Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms * Architect and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation * Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE) and Docker * Implement and enforce cloud security best practices including IAM policies, network segmentation, secrets management, and vulnerability assessments * Develop and maintain observability stacks for logging, metrics, and alerting using tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus * Collaborate with engineering teams to define deployment strategies, optimize release pipelines, and mitigate deployment risks * Evaluate and improve tooling to enhance system reliability, scalability, and developer productivity * Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post\-mortem activities to improve system resilience * Document infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans * Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in cloud and DevOps engineering **Benefits** * Uncapped vacation policy—encouraging work\-life balance and flexibility * Opportunities to make a meaningful impact on innovative projects * Collaborate with highly skilled PhD and Master’s level colleagues in cutting\-edge AI and ML topics * Competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage * Hybrid work environment with access to modern office spaces designed to foster collaboration * Engagement with a vibrant community that values knowledge sharing and continuous learning Equal Opportunity AltaML is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
