DevOps Engineer

A leading consultancy is looking for a DevOps Engineer. This role involves supporting a high\-profile project within the public sector, focusing on cloud\-native platform modernisation and high\-availability environments. You will work within a technical team to ensure robust container orchestration and automated delivery practices. **What You'll Be Doing** * Managing and scaling high\-availability Kubernetes environments including EKS and RKE. * Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible for cloud\-native platforms. * Building and optimising CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI to support automated delivery. * Implementing monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana. * Managing data and streaming technologies including Kafka, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. **What We're Looking For** * Proven commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer, ideally within public sector environments. * Strong technical proficiency with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). * Deep expertise in containerisation and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. * Experience with security and access management including PKI, secrets management, and IAM. * Must be legally authorized to work in the UK and hold active SC Clearance. **What's On Offer** * Salary: Up to £425 per day * Primarily remote working arrangements * Opportunity to work on large\-scale public sector digital transformation * Collaborative environment using modern cloud\-native technologies Apply via Hyra to be considered for this opportunity.
