Software Engineer

An innovative organisation in the public safety technology space is looking for a Cloud Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to join a venture-backed company in its early stages, influencing both the technology stack and the future direction of mission-critical AI solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications and cloud-native platforms.
• Develop backend services using modern technologies including Node.js and NestJS.
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Take ownership of production deployments, platform reliability, and operational performance.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support automated delivery and release processes.

What We're Looking For

• Commercial experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud-native architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and production environments.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and containerisation technologies like Docker.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the UK and eligible for security clearance.
