Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a
Scrum Master \& Test Verification Engineer
to support Agile delivery while contributing to vehicle integration testing and verification activities within a Connected Vehicle environment. This hybrid role combines Agile leadership responsibilities with hands-on testing, validation, and fault analysis of vehicle electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Scrum Master Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support Agile delivery teams using Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
- Coach team members on Agile principles, practices, and continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments and help the team overcome day-to-day challenges.
- Foster collaboration, transparency, and effective communication across cross-functional teams.
- Support Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and PI Planning activities.
- Track team progress and promote delivery excellence through Agile best practices.
Testing \& Verification Responsibilities
- Perform verification and validation activities for connected vehicle and electrical system functionality.
- Execute integration testing for both new and existing vehicle features.
- Participate in the complete testing lifecycle, including:
- Test Planning
- Test Coordination \& Leadership
- Test Execution
- Defect Management
- Fault Analysis \& Root Cause Investigation
- Verify and validate electrical systems from a vehicle integration perspective.
- Support SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing activities.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with development teams on resolutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and test environments.
- Ensure system quality, reliability, and compliance with defined requirements.
Required Skills \& Experience
- Experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile team facilitator.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including
SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
.
- Hands-on experience in
Verification and Validation (V\&V)
activities.
- Experience performing integration testing, system testing, and fault analysis.
- Strong Python programming or scripting experience.
- Experience working within Connected Vehicle, Automotive, Embedded Systems, or Product Development environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with
SIL/HIL testing environments
.
- Experience with complete vehicle integration testing.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and system integration.
- Experience with test automation and test management tools.
- Familiarity with CAN-based communication, diagnostics, or automotive testing environments.
- Exposure to Continuous Integration and DevOps practices.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Embedded Systems
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Automotive Engineering
- Related Engineering Discipline
Certifications
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent) – Preferred.
- SAFe certification – Preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license (Mandatory).
- Truck driver's license (Preferred).
