Senior Observability Consultant
Helsingborg, Sweden
Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Observability Consultant to lead the design and implementation of enterprise observability solutions. You will work closely with business and technical teams to build scalable monitoring platforms, create insightful dashboards, define SLOs, and drive the adoption of observability best practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Grafana dashboards for infrastructure and application monitoring.
- Implement and manage the LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir).
- Work with stakeholders to understand monitoring and observability requirements.
- Define and implement SLI/SLO strategies for critical services.
- Guide teams in adopting observability tools and best practices.
- Develop automation using Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Implement OpenTelemetry instrumentation.
- Create technical documentation and deliver knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Recommend improvements to the observability platform and monitoring strategy.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Observability and Monitoring
- Expert knowledge of Grafana and the LGTM stack
- Prometheus and OpenTelemetry (OTel)
- Python or other scripting languages
- Terraform \& Ansible
- Dashboard creation and data visualisation
- Kubernetes/Docker or other container platforms
- Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- SLI/SLO implementation
