Risk Lawyer – International Law Firm
A leading international law firm is seeking a Risk Lawyer to join its London-based Risk Management team.

The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will act as a trusted adviser across the firm, working on a broad range of risk and regulatory matters with a strong international element.
This is a high-visibility position, partnering closely with partners, fee earners, and business services teams to support effective governance, mitigate risk, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on a wide range of professional conduct, regulatory, and risk management issues
- Support senior risk leadership, including the COLP, in meeting UK and international regulatory requirements
- Review and enhance engagement terms, firm policies, and risk frameworks
- Deliver training and guidance to legal and business teams on risk-related matters
- Act as a strategic partner to the business, helping shape best-in-class governance practices
About You
- Qualified lawyer with experience in risk and compliance within an international law firm
- Strong knowledge of multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks impacting legal practice
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively
- Commercially minded, offering pragmatic, solution-focused advice in a fast-paced environment
