Job Description
Overview This role is an individual contributor position reporting to the Director of FP\&A, responsible for end-to-end accounting operations and collaborating with finance, legal, and sales teams. Key duties include managing monthly close processes using AI-native ERP, overseeing ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription contracts, and handling accounts receivable, payable, invoicing, collections, payroll, and employee expenses. The role involves leading automation initiatives, maintaining the equity ledger, preparing for audits, and partnering on financial forecasting and SaaS metrics. It requires developing accounting policies, internal controls, and ensuring data integrity across functions.
Qualifications
- Active CPA and Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and industry roles
- Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 and full-cycle close processes in modern ERP systems
- Experience with SaaS or recurring revenue models and familiarity with AI in accounting
- Proficiency with finance tools like Rillet, Ramp, Bill.com, BambooHR, and Carta is a plus
- Effective communicator with ownership mindset, accountability, and continuous improvement attitude
Key Responsibilities
- Own accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
- Manage revenue recognition, receivables, payables, payroll, and expenses
- Lead automation efforts, document controls, and improve processes
- Maintain equity ledger and oversee audit readiness
- Partner with finance and cross-functional teams on forecasting and data flow integrity
Compensation
- $90,000 – $125,000 USD + Bonus + Equity
