We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Junior Advocate to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to the legal profession, possess excellent skills, and show a willingness to learn and work hard in a fast\-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** **1\.Legal Research:** * Conduct in\-depth research on case laws, statutes, and regulations. * Stay updated with legal developments and amendments in the law. * Drafting and Documentation: * Draft pleadings, written statements, legal notices, and opinions. * Prepare case briefs, summaries, and reports for ongoing litigation. **2\.Court Representation:** * Assist in representing clients in various courts and tribunals. * Accompany senior counsel to court hearings, observing and assisting with oral arguments. **3\.Client Interaction:** * Assist in client meetings, understanding their requirements, and providing legal guidance under supervision. * Maintain accurate client records and documentation. **4\.Administrative and Miscellaneous Tasks:** * Ensure timely filing and follow\-up of cases. * Manage legal documentation, filings, and compliance requirements. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** **Educational Background:** LL.B. degree from a recognised university and enrolment with the Bar Council of Maharashtra \& Goa. **Language Proficiency:** Fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in all three languages. **Legal Skills:** * Strong research and analytical abilities. * Good drafting skills and attention to detail in legal writing. * Sound logical reasoning and problem\-solving skills. **Courtroom Skills:** * Effective oral argument abilities. * Confidence in public speaking and handling courtroom dynamics. **Technical Skills:** * Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Familiarity with online legal research tools (Manupatra, SCC Online, etc.). **Key Attributes:** * A proactive learner with a strong work ethic. * High level of dedication, commitment, and perseverance. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. * Professionalism, integrity, and respect for confidentiality. **What We Offer:** * Exposure to diverse areas of law and opportunities to work on high\-profile cases. * Mentorship and guidance from experienced advocates. * A supportive work environment fostering professional growth. **How to Apply:** Interested candidates are requested to email their updated CV along with a brief cover letter highlighting their suitability for the role to careers@govilkar.com. **We look forward to welcoming a passionate and hardworking individual to our team!**
