Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations for our Orlando office. This individual will serve as a trusted business partner to leadership while overseeing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR programs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who enjoys building relationships, improving processes, and supporting employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day Human Resources operations for a growing organization.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational development, and performance management.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
- Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance concerns, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as the primary liaison with benefits providers and brokers.
- Coordinate payroll activities with internal teams and payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and employee records while generating reports and workforce metrics.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook materials.
- Support compensation planning, salary benchmarking, and annual performance review processes.
- Partner with managers to identify training and development opportunities.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and help foster a positive workplace culture.
- Manage leave administration, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and accommodations.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, workflows, and employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, UKG, Paylocity, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
