Dorset Council is mid\-transformation. Our Future Council is the programme reshaping how we work \- and phase two is where things get more complex. We’re recruiting an experienced HR Change Lead to help make sure change is handled well, with people at the heart of our approach. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver high quality, people‑centred change. The role offers the chance to contribute to complex, organisation‑wide programmes, leading on the people change management issues. This role is at the heart of organisational change, ideal for someone with strong change management experience and a people‑focused approach who can make an immediate impact. **What You’ll Be Doing** As HR Change Lead, you will play a central role \- leading people‑focused change that helps the organisation move forward with confidence. You’ll lead and deliver wider people change activity including restructures, partnering with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to provide trusted strategic and operational advice. Working collaboratively with OD and Change colleagues is key to delivering joined‑up, effective solutions which flex and tailor to a range of Change settings. You’ll support and guide managers through change, ensuring strong governance throughout and play a key part in developing our positive and constructive relationships with recognised Trade Unions **What We’re Looking For** We need someone who brings clarity, calm, and confidence to complex change. You’ll have a CIPD qualification or equivalent experience, up\-to\-date knowledge of employment law and change management best practice as well as experience leading on complex employee relations and organisational change. Your strong judgement and the ability to influence and build trust at all levels will be evident through your professional experience and you must have a collaborative, adaptable mindset and the ability to work at pace. **What’s In It For You** This role allows for variety and visibility across the whole council.
