Job Description
**JOB OVERVIEW** As an Educational Coach, you'll be the person students remember years after their exams: the one who finally made it click. You'll work directly with students on personalised learning plans, serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, and play a key role in keeping the Ucademy experience running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves working with students, takes pride in clear communication, and thrives in a fast\-paced, remote\-first environment. **WHAT YOU'LL DO** ***Student Success*** * Design and manage personalised learning plans tailored to each student's goals, learning style, and exam requirements * Track academic progress and deliver timely, constructive feedback that actually moves the needle * Conduct regular client meetings via Google Meet, maintaining a professional and approachable presence ***Client \& Operations Support*** * Serve as a responsive, reliable point of contact during on\-call periods — handling urgent parent and student queries with calm and clarity * Troubleshoot programme\-related issues and implement quick, effective solutions * Coordinate with tutors and full\-time staff to resolve scheduling conflicts before they become problems * Log all interactions and resolutions accurately in our management system * Keep the full\-time client management team informed with clear, concise updates **WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR** * **Strong communicator** — confident and clear in written and spoken English, whether in a client meeting or a WhatsApp message * **Detail\-oriented and process\-driven** — you pick up SOPs quickly and follow through consistently * **STEM background** — a strong academic record in science or maths subjects is a plus; you know the curriculum and can speak to it credibly * **Teaching or tutoring experience** — you know how to hold a room (or a screen), earn respect, and make learning feel engaging rather than exhausting * **Balanced personality** — professional when it counts, relatable always * **UK curriculum background (required)** — you must have studied under the British curriculum yourself (GCSEs, A\-Levels, or equivalent), giving you firsthand understanding of the pressures students face and the ability to connect authentically with them and their parents
