We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Deploy, manage, and support large-scale Windows and Linux environments, including virtualization platforms and networking components.
- Create and maintain automation solutions using scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for scalable deployment processes and infrastructure management.
- Architect and implement secure, scalable solutions in hybrid infrastructure environments, considering system interdependencies and limitations.
- Analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions through root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with global teams, provide technical consultation, and support cross-functional projects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and support team knowledge sharing.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 4+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration.
- 2+ years of experience in building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, or Shell.
- Experience working in a 24/7 production environment and with service-oriented architecture.
