DevOps Engineer - Ansible Developer

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps engineer with strong expertise in Ansible, automation, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and observability. The role supports mission‑critical financial applications and requires hands‑on engineering, infrastructure automation, and cross‑team collaboration. Top 3 Required Skills: Strong hands‑on experience with Ansible (Playbooks, Roles, YAML) Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration \& scripting (Python, Bash, Shell) Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (Git, Jenkins, GitLab) Top 3 Preferred Skills: Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) \& IaC Monitoring, logging \& automation integrations (ServiceNow, observability tools) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Certifications in DevOps / Ansible / Cloud technologies (preferred) Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with developers, operations, and security teams to design and implement secure, scalable infrastructure Automate deployment, scaling, and observability of applications and services Continuously optimize system performance, availability, and security Work with SRE teams to design deployment pipelines, incident response, and recovery plans Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours support and maintenance Qualifications: 5\+ years in DevOps or SRE roles within automation‑focused environments Must have financial industry experience Strong experience with configuration management (Ansible, YAML) Strong experience with containerization \& orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) Strong experience with observability \& logging tools (Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, CloudWatch) Strong scripting/programming skills: Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript Strong experience with security \& compliance in regulated industries Strong GitOps experience and expertise with Git tooling (GitHub preferred) Experience with OOP, SOLID principles, API design \& implementation Experience with ITIL processes (change, problem, configuration, release management) Strong communication, documentation, and mentoring skills Essential Skills: DevOps \& SRE expertise in automation environments Infrastructure design, scalability, and security best practices CI/CD, GitOps, and deployment pipeline implementation Containerization \& orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) Observability \& monitoring (Dynatrace, ELK, CloudWatch) Scripting \& programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript) Financial industry compliance \& security standards Strong collaboration, communication, and mentoring abilities ITIL processes \& operational excellence
