Clinical Nurse Educator/Supervisor

* Bachelor’s degree in related area * Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in supervising a medical care unit or equivalent. * 4\-6 years Solid nursing experience. * Must have current and valid California State RN license. * Must have CPR certification. * CIC Certification (or must be obtained within 2 years from date of hire). * Knowledge of clinical policies and procedures, of clinical practices in medical terminology, of infection control standards, of medical records and computer skills and common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. * Ability to communicate well with patients, families, co\-workers, physicians, advance care providers, other members of the healthcare team, community resources, as well as the campus community. To organize and prioritize work and to follow written instructions. And, the ability to reason and make sound judgments. * Skilled in identifying problems and recommending solutions. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co\-workers, management, patients, medical staff, the public, and the campus as a whole and accepting constructive criticism and giving suggestions in a professional manner.
