Accounting Manager
to join their leadership team.
With multiple locations nationwide and plans to expand into two more locations this year, my client is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations and support the financial success of the organization.
Position Overview
The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, lead the month-end close process, supervise accounting staff, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across multiple locations.
This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading teams, improving processes, and partnering closely with operations leaders.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management functions
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reporting packages
- Oversee accounting activities across multiple dealership locations
- Ensure accurate inventory accounting and reconciliation of inventory balances
- Manage multi-state sales tax compliance and reporting
- Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Coordinate annual audits and collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
- Partner with operational, sales, and service leadership to improve financial performance
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior supervisory or management experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with cost accounting and accrual-based accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Multi-location accounting experience
- Multi-state sales tax compliance experience
- Inventory accounting and inventory management systems experience
