We enable high\-transaction businesses in Retail, E\-commerce, QSR, Hospitality, and Consumer BFSI to improve retention, reduce churn, and accelerate revenue growth through intelligent automation and data\-driven insights. **Role Overview** We are looking for a detail\-oriented and experienced **Account Executive (Accounting)** to manage day\-to\-day financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of **accounting principles, GST, TDS, and Indian taxation, MIS report** , along with hands\-on experience in accounting software such as **Zoho Books or Tally** . You will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting audits, and providing management with timely financial insights and MIS reports. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage day\-to\-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations * Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes * Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports * Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements * File GST returns and TDS returns within deadlines * Perform bank reconciliations and expense tracking * Maintain proper documentation of invoices, payments, and financial records * Work on Zoho Books / Tally or similar accounting software * Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities * Prepare MIS reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management review * Analyze financial data to provide insights on revenue, expenses, and performance * Support process improvements to enhance financial efficiency **Required Qualifications** * Proven experience as an Accountant or Account Executive in finance/accounting * Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws * Hands\-on experience with Zoho Books, Tally, or similar accounting software * Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards * Strong proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, reporting, data handling) * High attention to detail and accuracy in financial records * Good organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines **Preferred Skills** * Experience in startup or SaaS environment * Exposure to MIS reporting and financial analysis * Understanding of business KPIs and revenue tracking **What We Offer** * Opportunity to work in a fast\-growing AI SaaS company * Exposure to modern finance systems and startup operations * Growth opportunities in finance and operations leadership roles * Dynamic and collaborative work environment * Competitive compensation package **Equal Opportunity** Zithara.ai is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity, inclusion, and equal access to opportunity for all employees.
