**Job Description: Practice Accountant** **Location:** Ipswich, Suffolk **Hours:** Full\-time **Salary:** £50,000 \- £70,000 DOE **Benefits:** 4 weeks’ holiday plus all bank holidays **About the Role** My client is seeking an experienced and technically strong **Practice Accountant** to join their established and supportive team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload, is confident in a client\-facing environment, and has solid experience within accountancy practice. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare year\-end accounts **up to review stage** for: * Sole traders * Partnerships * Limited companies * LLPs (experience highly beneficial) * Manage a range of **Personal Tax** and **Corporate Tax** matters * Attend client meetings and provide clear, professional advice * Handle and respond to **HMRC queries** efficiently and accurately * Maintain high standards of compliance, accuracy, and client service * Support internal processes and contribute to the smooth running of the practice **Required Experience \& Qualifications** * **ACCA qualified** * **Minimum 5 years’ experience within an accountancy practice** * Strong technical knowledge across accounts preparation and tax * Confident managing your own portfolio and working independently * Excellent communication and organisational skills **What My Client Offers** * 4 weeks’ holiday **plus bank holidays** * A supportive, collaborative working environment * Opportunities for ongoing professional development * Flexibility around working hours for the right candidate * A varied and interesting client portfolio * A stable, long\-term role with room to grow
