**Job Description** **Summary:** The Accountant will manage all aspects of Accounts Payable as it relates to development projects, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payment issuance, and various administrative tasks. Responsible for ensuring accurate financial operations, timely processing, and effective communication with both vendors and internal stakeholders to support overall project issues. **Accounts Payable Management** * Check the Accounts Payable (AP) email daily to process new incoming invoices, ensuring they are accurately saved and assigned a PDF cover before uploading them to SharePoint. * Address any discrepancies with invoices by communicating with consultants for revisions. * Send weekly reminders to key stakeholders for invoice approvals, ensuring timely action. * After obtaining approvals, input invoice details into Yardi and save a copy for records. * Issue AP cheques, release payments, and handle any inquiries related to AP. * Arrange for cheque delivery, either by mailing or coordinating pickup as needed. **Collaboration With Internal Teams** * Work closely with development and construction managers, as well as other internal teams, to ensure that all financial records are accurate and up\-to\-date. * Provide support on financial matters related to ongoing development projects. **Report Generation \& Financial Tracking** * Draw reports for assigned development projects, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures and financial progress. * Prepare and submit periodic financial reports to Joint Venture (JV) partners, detailing the financial status of the relevant development projects. **General Administrative Duties** * Manage incoming mail, scanning, and filing documents into the shared system for easy access and organization. * Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the finance and development teams. **Who You Are** * Proven experience in accounting, particularly within the property management, construction or development sectors. * Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, invoicing, and vendor management. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. * Detail\-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Greenwin Corp. is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse workforce representative of the communities we serve and providing an accessible environment.
