Today, this extends to more than 1,500 enterprise clients, where the focus remains on creating systems that are not only functional, but ready to adapt and evolve over time. **Position Overview** We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to join its engineering team as a permanent resource. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining web platforms that span customer\-facing portals, internal management tools, API developer portals, and reporting systems. This is a hands\-on, technical leadership role suited to a self\-driven professional with a passion for building scalable and polished web experiences. **Key Responsibilities** **Customer Portal Management** * Design, develop, and maintain Chenosis.IO, the primary customer\-facing web platform. * Build and enhance marketing communication pages, landing pages, and campaign microsites. * Develop and maintain customized web applications for special events such as hackathons and conferences. **Reporting \& Internal Portal Management** * Develop and maintain internal portals and reporting dashboards for operational visibility. * Build and support the API Developer Portal, enabling external developers to discover, test, and integrate APIs. * Maintain and enhance the Support Portal, ensuring smooth ticketing and customer support workflows. **General Engineering** * Write clean, maintainable, and well\-documented code following established best practices. * Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end\-to\-end features. * Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers within the team. * Lead front\-end architecture decisions and contribute to technical roadmap planning. * Ensure cross\-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and responsive design across all platforms. * Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand\-ups, and retrospectives. **Requirements** * 5\+ years of professional web development experience in a product or technology company. * Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6\+). * Hands\-on experience with at least one modern front\-end framework: React, Vue.js, or Angular. * Experience with RESTful API integration and developer portal technologies. * Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross\-browser development. * Familiarity with version control using Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub/GitLab). * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). * Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. **NICE TO HAVE** * Experience building or consuming API developer portals (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway). * Exposure to CMS platforms and marketing automation tools. * Background in building event\-driven web applications for hackathons or conferences. * Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2\.1\). * Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or Nuxt.js. * Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools integration (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau embeds). **What We Offer** * Competitive compensation based on experience * Exposure to enterprise\-scale global projects * A collaborative and growth\-oriented work environment * Opportunities for professional development and upskilling *Abacus Consulting \| Enabling Organisations to Create the Future of Business*
