Our client Riphah International University is looking for a Senior Lecturer in Islamic Studies in Islamabad In this role, you will contribute to the intellectual growth and research output of the department by assisting in curriculum development, promoting scholarly publications, and participating actively in academic committees and student mentoring programs. You will play a crucial part in the universitys quality assurance processes and institutional academic initiatives, ensuring the maintenance of high educational standards. Although this position does not encompass managing a team, it requires collaborative work with faculty and administrative staff aimed at enhancing the academic environment and supporting student success. **Responsibilities** * Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures and tutorials in Islamic Studies, including topics such as Islamic Jurisprudence, Hadith Studies, and Shariah Compliance Analysis. * Develop and update course content and curriculum to ensure alignment with current academic standards and research developments. * Conduct and publish research in reputable HEC\-recognized journals to contribute to the academic community and support the departments research profile. * Participate actively in seminar discussions, workshops, and departmental academic committees to foster a collaborative academic environment. * Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate students to support their educational and personal development. * Assist in preparing and reviewing academic materials, examinations, and assessments to evaluate student performance effectively. * Support quality assurance processes by adhering to institutional policies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. * Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and productive research culture within the department. * Engage in professional development activities to remain current with advancements in Islamic Studies and educational methodologies. * Represent the department and university in academic forums, conferences, and relevant external engagements.
