Our client Agay Barho is looking for a Senior Accountant \- Full\-Cycle Accounting \& Team Leadership in Agay Barho, a leading firm in the real estate sector, is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant with at least two years of professional experience to oversee full\-cycle accounting operations. This role demands expert management of day\-to\-day bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, inter\-company accounting, cash forecasting, and budgeting, among other accounting functions. The ideal candidate will hold ACCA or CA qualifications with articles completed at a Big 4 accounting firm and possess a firm understanding of financial reporting standards such as GAAP and IFRS. This position involves managing a team of two professionals, requiring leadership, effective communication, and collaboration skills to ensure the integrity of financial data and adherence to internal controls. **Responsibilities** * Manage complete accounting cycles for real estate client subsidiaries and projects, including daily bookkeeping to ensure timely and accurate financial data. * Prepare, review, and finalize statutory financial statements and management accounts in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP accounting standards. * Lead and supervise a team of two accountants, providing direction and assistance to enhance their performance and development. * Coordinate and manage inter\-company accounting processes and resolve discrepancies to maintain integrity across entities. * Perform cash forecasting and liquidity management to support financial planning and optimize cash flow. * Develop and monitor budgets, perform variance analysis, and contribute to forecasting activities to inform decision\-making. * Support month\-end, quarter\-end, and year\-end close processes, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities. * Prepare detailed bank and lender reports and assist in maintaining relationships with financial institutions to meet reporting requirements. * Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, including conducting fieldwork, reviewing findings, and compiling audit reports. * Utilize accounting software and audit working paper tools, such as SAP and CaseWare, to maintain organized financial records and audit documentation. * Implement and review internal controls, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. * Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies to uphold the accuracy of the general ledger and financial records. * Communicate effectively with clients, management, and team members to relay financial information clearly and professionally. * Demonstrate a proactive and solution\-oriented approach by identifying potential issues early and taking appropriate corrective actions. * Work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines during critical financial periods, including audit season and financial closings. * Maintain high professional integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to ethical accounting practices.
