We are expanding our operations in the UAE and looking for a **Finance Manager** to own and lead our finance function across the region and support our global footprint (US, UAE, Canada, UK, Australia, and beyond). This is an **internal role** , working directly with the founders and leadership team. About the Role As **Finance Manager** , you will be responsible for building and managing the day\-to\-day finance function in the UAE, while supporting group\-level visibility on performance and cash. You will handle everything from monthly closing and reporting to budgeting, cash flow planning, VAT, and coordination with auditors and banks. You should be hands\-on, comfortable in a startup environment, and able to set up simple, effective processes rather than heavy bureaucracy. Key Responsibilities * Own the **full finance cycle** for the UAE entity (and support other entities as needed) * Prepare **monthly management accounts** , P\&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports * Lead **budgeting and forecasting** , track actual vs budget, and highlight variances * Manage **cash flow** , vendor payments, collections, and banking relationships * Oversee **invoicing, revenue recognition, and basic cost allocation** * Ensure **compliance** with UAE regulations, corporate requirements, and VAT * Coordinate with **external auditors, tax advisors, and corporate service providers** * Support **investor reporting** , KPI tracking, and board\-level summaries * Implement and improve **financial controls, policies, and simple processes** * Work closely with founders and operations to support **pricing, contracts, and new markets** Requirements * **5\+ years** of progressive experience in Finance / Accounting * Experience as a **Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, FP\&A, or similar** * Strong understanding of **accounting principles, financial statements, and cash flow** * Experience working in the **UAE** ; familiarity with **VAT and local compliance** is a strong plus * Comfortable using **cloud accounting tools, spreadsheets, and basic dashboards** * Ability to work independently, prioritise, and build processes in a fast\-moving startup * Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus * **Must be based in the UAE** and able to work UAE business hours **Nice to Have** * Experience in **SaaS, tech, fintech or high\-growth startups** * Exposure to **multi\-entity / multi\-country** structures * Experience supporting **fundraising, investor reporting, or board packs** * A professional qualification (e.g., **CPA, ACCA, CMA** ) is a plus, not mandatory What We Offer * Internal leadership role in a **growing AI and hiring technology company** * Opportunity to set up and shape the **finance function** in the UAE * Work closely with founders and global teams across multiple countries * Real influence on how we manage growth, spend, and financial discipline (Salary and benefits to be discussed based on experience and fit.)
