Our client Riphah International University is looking for a Assistant Professor of Physics in Islamabad Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Professor of Physics to join its academic faculty. The ideal candidate holds a PhD degree from an HEC\-recognized university or a degree with HEC equivalence and possesses a strong background in research and teaching within the physics discipline. This role requires a minimum of five years of university\-level teaching experience coupled with a significant record of published research in reputable journals. The Assistant Professor\-Physics will focus on delivering high\-quality lectures, supervising graduate students, and contributing to the universitys research objectives. While this role does not involve managing a team, it demands a collaborative spirit and active participation in academic committees and projects. The successful candidate will mentor M.Phil and Ph.D. candidates, helping shape the next generation of physicists through rigorous academic guidance and research supervision. **Responsibilities** * Conduct engaging and comprehensive lectures and tutorials in physics to undergraduate and graduate students. * Develop and update course materials to ensure they meet current academic standards and industry developments. * Supervise graduate research projects, including at least five M.Phil completed theses and one completed Ph.D. thesis. * Publish original research articles regularly, with a focus on HEC recognized journals, including W and X category publications. * Participate actively in departmental meetings, academic committees, and contribute to curriculum design. * Guide students in experimental and theoretical research methodologies to cultivate critical thinking and problem\-solving skills. * Stay current with advancements in the field of physics and incorporate innovative teaching and research practices. * Prepare and submit research proposals to secure funding and foster university\-industry collaborations. * Maintain academic records in compliance with university policies and HEC guidelines. * Collaborate with academic colleagues on interdisciplinary research and departmental initiatives.
