Our client Riphah International University is looking for a Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence in Islamabad Riphah International University seeks an experienced and dedicated Assistant Professor specializing in Artificial Intelligence. The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institute and possesses a strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision. This role involves delivering high\-quality teaching supported by research focused on AI\-driven innovation, ethical practices in artificial intelligence, and the development and deployment of AI applications. The position requires excellent knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI development, ensuring alignment with contemporary standards and societal values. The Assistant Professor will contribute to academia by guiding students in software design and architecture, advanced programming techniques, and software quality assurance within the context of AI. The role demands active engagement in research advancing software engineering practices pertinent to artificial intelligence. Although this position does not include managerial Responsibilities , the successful candidate is expected to collaborate effectively with colleagues and partake in university activities that promote the growth of AI knowledge and applications. **Responsibilities** * Deliver comprehensive lectures and tutorials on artificial intelligence, covering machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, and computer vision. * Develop and update course materials to reflect the latest advancements and industry practices in AI and software engineering. * Conduct cutting\-edge research in artificial intelligence with an emphasis on AI\-driven innovation, ethical AI development, and responsible AI practices. * Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at academic and professional conferences. * Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic projects, theses, and research activities related to AI and software engineering. * Collaborate with academic peers and industry partners to foster a research environment focused on AI and software engineering progress. * Participate in the design, development, and deployment of AI\-driven applications as part of research projects or curriculum activities. * Ensure adherence to ethical standards in all research and teaching activities related to AI. * Engage in continuous professional development to remain knowledgeable about emerging trends and technologies in AI and software engineering. * Contribute to departmental and university committees, assisting with curriculum development, academic policies, and program enhancement.
